Printed insert vs foam
Many organizers start as foam: it’s familiar, easy to cut, and soft on edges. A 3D-printed insert is different — rigid walls cut to your traced outlines, with set depth, clearance, and finger notches you control in Toolhouette.

Neither is “wrong.” Choose foam if you want a soft bed you cut yourself. Choose a printed insert when you want pockets that match your tools and stay put.
